Description:
Strategic Results is seeking Operations Support Staff in support of the Army War College (AWC). In this crucial role, you will handle a range of tasks essential for the successful execution of Senior Leader Education courses, including preparing course materials, managing logistics like transportation and catering, and setting up classrooms. Your responsibilities also encompass maintaining security protocols for VIPs, tracking expenses, and ensuring seamless coordination during both pre-course and post-event activities. This dynamic position requires adaptability, multitasking ability, and a commitment to upholding the high standards of both Strategic Results and the Army War College.
Key Responsibilities:
· Attend pre-course planning meetings and coordinate final preparation activities for SLED courses.
· Provide comprehensive support during course execution, including IT setup, refreshment and catering coordination, and daily operations monitoring.
· Assist in post-event activities such as material collection, teardown of sites, and compiling after-action reviews.
· Coordinate and manage facilities, meals, transportation, and other related tasks for events.
· Ensure proper protocol for military and government VIPs and senior officers.
Qualifications:
· Minimum one year of experience in event planning and execution, demonstrating ability to manage various logistical aspects.
· Knowledge of protocol for military and government VIPs and senior officers.
· Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills, with proficiency in MS Office and ability to work under short deadlines in high-stress environments.
· Two years’ experience in event preparation and execution for senior leader level conferences and symposia.
Education:
· High School Diploma or GED, along with an associate degree in any discipline.
Location:
· Carlisle Barracks, PA, with some travel to National Capital Region and other locations in the United States.
Hours:
· Part Time: Up to 30 hours per week.
