Operations Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for all day-to-day operational activities in the warehouse. These responsibilities will include direction for all warehouse, operations, and data-entry personnel. The Operations Supervisor will also be required to ensure that all Key Performance Indicators for our customers are consistently met. The Operations Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager.

Key Functions:

· Responsible for the day-to-day operations in the warehouse

· Maximize productivity in an effective and efficient manner

· Supervise, discipline, direct, train, and motivate all warehouse staff

· Responsible for monitoring and acting on all operational emails and requests

· Reply to customer service queries and concerns in a prompt and discreet manner

· Ensure proper staffing levels in the warehouse to complete the day’s operational activities

· Ensure a safe and healthy work environment

· Develop and enforce all safety and compliance procedures

Requirements:

· Must be responsible and reliable

· Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

· Experience in Airfreight, a plus

· Knowledge of TSA procedures, a plus

· Knowledge handling of Hazmat / DG shipments, a plus

Shift:

Monday – Friday

10:00 am to 6:30 pm

Must be flexible to accommodate peak times and variable workflow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
