Job description

Job Duties:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company's objectives, including growth targets, market expansion, and brand positioning within the luxury and fashion industry.

Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of certain departments, ensuring efficient and effective processes across all departments such as wholesales, E-commerce, and trade shows.

Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability and ensure financial sustainability.

Sales and Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and attract target customers.

Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the brand image and reputation by ensuring consistency in brand messaging, product quality, and customer experience across all channels.

Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to foster a high-performing and motivated workforce.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to operations, protect company assets, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities through market research and analysis, and use insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Trade Show Participation: Plan and coordinate the company's participation in relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Liaise with event organizers, secure booth space, and manage logistics such as booth setup, staffing, and promotional materials.

Sales and Lead Generation: Actively engage with attendees, prospects, and clients to generate leads, secure sales appointments, and drive revenue opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree may be preferred.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of five years of experience in roles relevant to luxury and fashion management, such as operations management, supply chain management, retail management, or brand management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership positions with responsibility for managing teams, budgets, and operational processes within the luxury or fashion industry.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of the luxury and fashion industry, including market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with luxury brands, their products, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
  • Operations Management Skills:
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, operations management, and process optimization within a luxury or fashion-related business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Leadership and Communication:
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas, negotiate agreements, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Acumen:
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost management to ensure the financial health and profitability of the business.
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Project Management Abilities:
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with departments such as marketing, sales, design, and manufacturing.
  • Adaptability and Innovation:
  • Agility and adaptability to navigate changes and challenges in the luxury and fashion industry, including technological advancements, market disruptions, and shifting consumer preferences.
  • Creativity and innovation mindset to develop new strategies, products, and initiatives that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
  • Networking and Relationship Building:
  • Established network of industry contacts, including suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and industry professionals.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to support business objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,700.00 - $80,000.00 per year
