Pay: $43,680/HR
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8AM-5PM (Hybrid after training)
A Day in the Role:
- Coordinate inland cargo movement to include communication amongst all relevant parties such as customer, truckers, and terminal operators.
- Liaison for procurement matters between branch offices and transportation vendors.
- Obtain ocean freight pricing and summarize all charges to branch office for review.
- Assist with contract renewal negotiations with ocean carriers.
- Analyze market fluctuations and communicate data to branch offices.
- Conduct market research utilizing 3rd party tools to assist with creating newsletters and customer market updates.
- Assist branch offices with troubleshooting of documentation, operational and pricing issues, or discrepancies.
- Create, monitor, and adjust Voyage Instructions.
- Manage invoice approval for USEC & Gulf Ports.
- Liaison for vessel incidents between vessel and trade management.
- Interacts with other KAM offices, Vendors, and Vessel Captains.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience utilizing Excel (Pivot Tables)
