Form of workWorld Finance is excited to host an Operations Project Management Intern for the summer of 2024. The program will begin in mid May and will last 10-12 weeks. This program will be designed to give interns an opportunity to learn and grow while being assigned meaningful work. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a large organization that believes in possibilities and helps our customers unlock their financial good. You will also be able to further your understanding of multiple business functions in our Downtown Greenville headquarters.
The Operations Project Management Intern will have the opportunity to build relationships across the organization and gain a broad understanding of our business and the financial services industry.
Assignments for this Internship may include:
- Support ongoing projects within the operations performance department by providing assistance with Project Management, documentation, and reporting.
- Provide administrative support to the Operations team, including data entry and document preparation.
- Contribute to data driven decision making processes.
- Utilize Xactimate to estimate construction costs.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior level undergrad student or soon to graduate.
- Must major in Business Management, Construction Science and Management, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. Experience with Xactimate is a plus.
- General knowledge of terms for construction components in interior spaces (ex. drywall, electrical receptacles, baseboards, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Housing/Relocation is not being offered.
