While overseeing the operations of ECS Transportation Group the Operations Manager plays the key role in executing the daily service required for our clients. With a focus on processes, customer satisfaction, and high levels of operational execution, the Operations Manager is directly responsible for organizing, communicating, implementing and operationalizing our service needs, while ensuring safe and successful results for the client.
Job Responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service ability
- Creating and maintaining dispatchers schedule
- Involved and managing dispatch
- Ensuring that dispatch Is being efficient with all dispatching and processes
- Hiring and training for chauffeurs and dispatch
- Manage driver compliance, including but not limited to the following areas: attendance & punctuality, following correct routes, dress code, and driver paperwork.
- Assist with planning routes, vehicle staging and all aspects of transportation in relation to client requests.
- Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within client directives or manifests and train/coach team to specific requirements.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and provide solutions to incidents including clients, customers and employees.
- Strong computer and organizational skills including knowledge of Microsoft office
- Complete any administrative functions that may be necessary
- Must be able to respond to emergencies as needed outside regular schedule
- CDL License with Passenger endorsement (this is something you can work on)
