Well-known branded jewelry company seeking experienced Operations/Inventory/Workflow Manager to oversee workflow and inventory. This individual MUST be a proven and polished leader with experience managing a team of formal reports. Additionally, they must have worked for a high volume luxury Jewelry or Luxury retail business.
They will be responsible for managing the corporate office team in addition to leading Inventory Purchasing and Inventory Control and Allocation Management. The corporate office is comprised of 7- 10 employees on cross-functional teams. This person will lead and support the onsite daily operations of the corporate office.
Manpower and Workflow Management
-Manage/optimize team’s daily workflow (and make adjustments throughout) including merchandise ordering, vendor communication, analyze stock and sell thru.
-Assist with and shift workload balance amongst team as needed.
-Manage/optimize product daily workflow (and make adjustments throughout)
-Provide coaching to direct reports (motivating and constructive performance feedback in a timely manner through daily coaching, monthly touchbases, and annual reviews)
-Cross Train corporate office positions and plan workflow to cover employees’ absences/vacations, and urgent priorities.
-On board and train new corporate office employees.
-Handle four wall management/location management.
Inventory Management
-Managing the inventory flow of goods from the various stages of the ordering, entering, allocating, and transferring process.
-Receiving, entering, allocating merchandise throughout the company.
-Placing purchase orders with vendors and designers .
-Negotiating vendor pricing and vendor ETAs to ensure best margins and timeliness of orders.
-Reviewing and remitting payment for all inventory ordered.
-Proactively review and manage open order reports to ensure timeliness of goods.
-Running/reviewing sales reports and making reorder recommendations when requested.
Qualifications:
-At least 5 years of team management overseeing a team of three or more employees.
-At least 5 years of previous experience in Inventory management, purchasing, inventory control, or allocation in the fashion retail or wholesale space.
-Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coach, train, motivate and inspire others.
-Must have strong operational and computer skills with competency in Inventory and POS systems, Excel, with an emphasis on data entering and pricing accuracy.
-Prior retail or sales experience is a plus.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
