Process Management: Review and optimize operational processes and systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency. Drive the development and implementation of streamlined processes to enhance effectiveness across the organization.

Corporate Governance: Assist in state payroll registration, charitable registration, and workers' comp insurance with the support of a vendor

Data-Driven Reporting: Oversee the collection, processing, and interpretation of operational data. Own creation of detailed reports to help facilitate informed decision-making.

Performance Oversight: Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of organizational operations using established metrics. Identify areas requiring improvement and spearhead plans to streamline inefficiencies.

Policy Creation and Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and best practices in operations across all departments.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between different stakeholders, including employees, contractors, and vendors, ensuring clear and efficient communication.

Vendor Relations: Oversee the management of vendor relationships, assist with direct contract negotiations, and ensure the delivery of services as per agreements.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential operational risks and help develop robust mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business continuity and performance.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure all operational activities adhere strictly to regulatory standards and organizational policies, mitigating the risk of non-compliance in areas such as but not limited to worker’s compensation, unemployment insurance, payroll tax accounts, and business foreign qualification across all 50 states.

Technology Management: Manage technology hardware systems post-implementation to ensure their effective utilization.

4+ years experience with key responsibilities: We’re looking for someone who has at least 4 years of experience with the core responsibilities, including compliance, process management, and vendor relations.

People management experience. We’re looking for someone who has experience leading and managing a small team. Remote experience as a leader is preferred.

$67,000 - $77,000 salary range, with exact salary depending on experience and new staff rarely starting at the top of the range.

We also trust everyone to make a schedule that works for them, as long as you’re able to join all necessary meetings. Want to work more one day and less the next? Fine by us.
