Operations Manager For Diamond Appliance Service Midwest In St. Louis

Diamond Factory Service Midwest is part of the Diamond Factory Service portfolio. Diamond is a large independent Appliance Service company that does warranty service exclusively for Whirlpool Corporation brands. We operate in Chicago, Boston, St. Louis, Kansas City, Southeast Wisconsin, Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. Diamond Factory Service Midwest is adding an Operations Manager to the Team. This position will be responsible for the overall performance of the St. Louis and Kansas City markets. Location is in St. Louis, Overland area to be specific.
Our Operations Manager will be responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the companys overall operations. They will oversee several elements in our business, including assisting the owner with staffing, operating budgets, and high customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include assisting with overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies. A successful candidate will be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our profits are on the rise. About the job

The ideal candidate must be experienced leading a team and will be managing the daily operation of our business for our 2 Midwest locations, St. Louis and Kansas City. They will be responsible for overall financial performance of the business and maintaining a culture where leaders remove barriers and enable the entire team to perform at a high level. This is not done by micro managing, but by inspiring and promoting policies and procedures that recognize and reward performance. A sharp eye on key indicators of success with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual metrics and goals. Maintaining a standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.
Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Provide leadership, motivation and direction for our team
• Deliver on key metrics like revenue generation and quality of service
• Deliver life/work balance of employees through engagement and understanding
• Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Enhance policies and processes
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
• Assist with recruitment and training of new employees
• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
• Assistance with fleet management

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General/Service/Operations Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong administrative skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting
• Strong communications skills
• Servitude leadership style of removing barriers and helping others achieve
• Degree in business, finance or relevant experience preferred

Compensation:
Salary $60,000 to $90,000
Signing Bonus TBD
Bonus Potential 20% of salary or $12,000 to $18,000
Paid time off: 2-3 Weeks Vacation (based on experience) and 6 company holidays
