Job duties:
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies aligned with the company's overall goals
- Collaborate with senior management to contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plan.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members for professional development.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within all operational areas.
- Implement and monitor streamlined processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational demands.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth interdepartmental coordination.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the delivery of products or services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational excellence.
- Develop and manage budgets for operational activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
- Monitor expenses and analyze budgetary performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and adjust operational processes accordingly.
- Identify and assess operational risks, developing and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Work to ensure the continuity of operations in the face of unforeseen challenges.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
