Provide operational leadership, management, and oversight for assigned office within the retail insurance division. Maintain a strong focus on developing teams of professionals providing superior experiences for our clients and supporting the sales team in growing the office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Motivate and lead a team responsible for insurance and risk management service and operations; attract and recruit new members to the team; manage workload distribution.
2. Identify challenges and opportunities for improvements; develop, implement, and monitor improvement plans.
3. Foster a positive, team-oriented, innovative, and accountability-based environment leading to success in client retention and engagement among team members. Lead by example.
4. Evaluate associates' performance and take appropriate action to ensure maximum productivity and success; manage workload distribution.
5. Prepare, analyze, and present operational reports and analyses. Make sound data driven management decisions.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert related to service and overall office operations; communicate and collaborate; problem solve; educate.
7. Communicate, implement, and monitor strategic plans developed by executive leadership.
8. Serve as a proactive, forward thinking leader.
9. Lead and participate in various steering committees, forums, or advisory groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, or Finance; or equivalent education, training, and experience
2. Seven years of relevant experience
3. Expertise in coaching and motivating others, leading to engaged and productive teams
4. Highly effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree or equivalent graduate work
2. Experience in leadership position within a national insurance brokerage
