Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains organization standards and production equipment ensuring minimal equipment downtime.
• Administers training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair programs.
• Inspects completed work for conformance to standard.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists employees in solving work problems.
• Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams.
• Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
• Determining quality control standards and overseeing production processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related business discipline.
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience, and OSHA certifications and training preferred.
• 5+ years of managerial experience in a manufacturing and production environment.
• Computer experience including ERP, Microsoft Excel/Word, and the ability to learn in-house systems.
• Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills and outstanding communication ability.
