Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains organization standards and production equipment ensuring minimal equipment downtime.
- Administers training programs to ensure proper operations, preventive maintenance, and repair programs.
- Inspects completed work for conformance to standard.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists employees in solving work problems.
- Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams.
- Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met.
- Determining quality control standards and overseeing production processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related business discipline.
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing experience, and OSHA certifications and training preferred.
- 5+ years of managerial experience in a manufacturing and production environment.
- Computer experience including ERP, Microsoft Excel/Word, and the ability to learn in-house systems.
- Understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills and outstanding communication ability.
