The Senior Manager, Retail Store and Donation Center Operations, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, supports the efficient operation of retail venues across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont to achieve the triple bottom line objectives: integrating social, economic, and environmental goals into thinking, planning and action to achieve waste diversion objectives, margin contribution goals, and strengthen the culture of serving others. The Senior Manager, Retail Store and Donation Center Operations, acting within the scope of Goodwill Northern New England's Citizenship Behaviors, drives operational excellence through a relentless commitment to people development and operational excellence and continuous improvement. Travel is required across Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Starting at $60,000 annually
- Works with Regional Directors to drive operational excellence in specifically assigned retail store and donation centers
- Supports and mentor specifically assigned retail stores and managers as designated by the SVP, Retail Operations
- Maintains an environment that promotes teamwork and maximizes individual potential through Goodwill Northern New England Citizenship Behaviors. Drives results by identifying opportunities to improve performance.

- Demonstrates adaptability by adjusting to changing business priorities.
- Mentors SMITs and Store Manager Candidates in their development and functional readiness for a successful transition into the Store and Donation Center Manager role
- Assists in the timely and effective implementation of performance improvement plans
- Train designated underperforming stores and teams on effective processing of donated goods
- Participates in various store footprint and operational optimization projects such as new store setups, existing store remodel, relocation, or closing
- Participates in New Goods physical inventory counts and merchandising planning and execution
- Provides input on retail store SOP and functional training
- Supports the rollout and implementation of retail field initiatives
- Collaborates across functional boundaries to achieve goals
- Communicates with SVP, Retail Operations on policies and standard operating procedures needed to achieve operational excellence
- Positively represent the Agency in all interactions with other members of the Goodwill community and with the general public, supporting the agency Vision of creating sustainable communities that thrive through the fullest participation of their diverse
- Complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as Agency policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
