Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the operations team, including lead installers and warehouse shop workers.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful completion of elevator installations.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to promote collaboration and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and timelines to ensure adherence to financial targets and project goals.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including safety regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations and optimize performance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of project details, contracts, and client communications.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members to support their growth and development.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven leadership in operations management, with a focus on the construction or elevator industry. A minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role is necessary for this position.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals and objectives.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including senior management, employees, and clients.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards, particularly related to elevator installation and construction.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Google Workspace, Adobe software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and other relevant software programs.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks and meet business objectives.
