In this role, you will work closely with our Founder & CEO as well as the company’s leadership team to help coordinate, manage, and enhance Browne Consulting’s operations. You will manage a wide range of duties pertaining to the day-to-day functions of the business with the overall tasks of increasing efficiencies, improving processes, and building/refining operational policies and strategies that keep the organization functioning smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to ensure all operational functions within the firm are being properly executed in accordance with best practices
- Participate in strategic initiatives and projects, helping to ensure that decisions are implemented accurately and efficiently
- Oversee and report on company metrics, such as employee utilization and resource planning
- Provide data driven recommendations
- Raise and track issues, remove barriers, resolve issues of varying complexity involving stakeholders and escalate to appropriate level when required
- Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships and communication with employees and external vendors
- Support firm-wide training programs, reinforcing technology and operations infrastructure to ensure consistency and quality standards are met
- Provide communication to stakeholders when company projects are revised or modified
- Administer and become a go-to subject matter expert for internal software
- Support and enhance the business development process; this will include helping to upgrade the proposal process as well as identification, implementation, and administration of a CRM
- Stay up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master’s preferred
- 6+ years of progressive operations experience
- 2+ years of professional service firm experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally to achieve results
- Ability to foster and create an environment of collaboration
- Ability to drive data-based decisions and business justifications
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to quickly comprehend new technology and software frameworks, as well as experience identifying/isolating/resolving software-related issues
