Job Summary:
The Operations Coordinator provides overall support for the Propane Education & Research Council’s (PERC) organizational and operations activities that include primary support for internal process management, communications, preparation support for the Advisory Committee, and Council meetings, and administrative support through coordination of communications, website content updates, and team goals. This role anticipates and resolves problems and updates supervisor on the status of projects. The Coordinator is responsible for performing general support duties such as taking meeting minutes, scheduling, basic project management, as well as communicating with and providing services to a wide range of internal, and external contacts such as industry volunteers. This position reviews and edits communications and correspondence, monitors budgets, creates presentations, assists in the preparation and coordination of materials for department and industry meetings, events, and training workshops, and assists in the maintenance of department files, and performs data entry. This position plays a vital role in cross-team coordination, providing for smooth day-to-day flow of communications. Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:
- 3-5 years of administrative experience.
- Advanced ability in the Microsoft Office suite of products: Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT, etc.
- Familiarity and comfort with digital platforms (i.e.: Hubspot, Slack, Dropbox, Asana, Fluxx, Word Press).
- Ability to provide excellent customer service by responding to queries, following up, or redirecting.
- Assist with preparation of meeting presentations, agendas, materials, and correspondence.
- Maintains calendar and meeting schedules.
- Submits, codes, and/or approves invoices in PERC’s bill pay system.
- Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests.
- Contributes to team goals by accomplishing related duties as required.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred. Consideration will be given to an equivalent of education plus relevant experience and demonstration of core competencies.
