Job Description
Primary Responsibility:
White Fleet Abandonment, LLC is seeking an innovative and entrepreneurial minded Operations Coordinator, responsible for supervising and guiding company field personnel and operations including equipment maintenance, monitoring, and inventory. The Operations Coordinator must possess the knowledge, skills, and capabilities to function as a Subject Matter Expert & technical consultant for interpretations on various codes, laws and regulations and perform other SEMS, project/personnel management, coaching and compliance related duties as assigned below.
Principal Accountabilities:
- WFO Person-in-Charge (PIC) management and coordination
- Coordination between WFO, contractors, and contract operators
- Regulatory compliance monitoring
- Coordination with contractors for HSE and SEMS program support, compliance, initiative implementation & effectiveness assurance
Experience, Professional Competency & Position Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal), proficient in developing and sustaining positive & constructive work relationships, driving the delivery of continuous operational performance and improvement
- This job requires the use of sound judgment, and the application of effective safety, environmental and interpersonal management techniques to deliver successful results
- Proficient in contractor management and knowledgeable of offshore training and personnel requirements
- Knowledgeable in Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), United States Coast Guard (USCG), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) & Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) regulatory requirements applicable to offshore operations to
- Knowledgeable of 30 CFR 250, API RP 14C, and other industry regulations
- Resource for operators in Safe Work Practices, JSAs, and Operating Procedures
- Excellent technical writing skills, competent in preparation of formal analyses and reports for internal and external publication
- Proficient in Microsoft Application Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
- Proficient in Agilink, ISNetworld, and similar industry standard programs
- Must be hands-on, highly motivated, and energetic team player
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & extremely high attention to detail
- Capable of driving to logistical base & office locations throughout the GOM area & of unrestricted offshore travel (marine/helicopter)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree required
- Preferred- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10 years of experience
