The Operations Assistant will be involved in the daily administration of the Operations Team. They’ll assist the team by completing data entry, running reports, monitoring project progression, and handling various administrative needs. They’ll work with the Quality Control and Customer Service teams to maintain accurate records and keep orders moving.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collects and prepares various types of data including current key metrics and other data for the Director of Operations
- Maintains database of operational information including files and correspondence as needed
- Updates and reviews the accuracy of the corporate data directory, including names, descriptions, sources of data, and keywords needed for categorizing and searching data item descriptions as instructed
- Organizes daily activities and reports related to QC and Operations
- Assists with, prepares, and updates the organization's operations policies as directed
- Able to find and accurately pull data from Tekweld’s ERP to support various teams
- Maintains tracking log for database training for data-entry staff, data analysts, and end users
- Conducts audits throughout the supply chain as directed, ensuring quality standards, safety, and legal requirements, and company policies and specifications are met
- Provides technical and administrative support to the Operations team
- Assist with Customer Service issues via the Freshdesk Ticketing System
- Partner with the Customer Resolutions Specialist to coordinate claims management and returned orders
- Additional related projects and duties may be assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to thrive in a performance-driven culture
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Proficient Excel skills and ability to learn database and ordering systems
