Position: Operations Analyst

Summary:

This position is part of Temco's Business Analyst team, responsible for supporting our Southwest Region. The key job duties include preparing detailed quarterly and monthly reports using excel spread sheets to analyze metrics, KPI’s and operations. In this role, the analyst provides support and communication regarding financial performance and productivity to the General Managers and Regional Directors.

Location: E. Rutherford, NJ or Armonk, NY - Hybrid

Schedule: M-F / 8:00 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Status: 3 days on site and remote the rest of the week.

Travel: Ability to travel 0-15%

Responsibilities:

· Assist Sr. Director of Business Analytics in monitoring and analyzing operational metrics on a daily and weekly basis

· Create and analyze financial accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

· Create financial models to analyze trends, make financial projections, and assess financial risks.

· Review and monitor annual budget; prepare quarterly budget review reports.

· Help develop standardized financial management and reporting tools; create internal control systems to ensure good financial management and enable early detection of fraud or errors.

· Produce financial reports for management, as needed or requested, including income statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.

· Present financial models and reports to management on major financial issues/risks and corporate finance

· Meet with General Managers and Regional Directors to review weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics and operational procedures.

· Ability to review the region’s performance metrics, inventory, and track the location’s vehicle fleet, then analyze the data and present findings.

Requirements:

· Accounting skills, including knowledge of accounting principles, standards and techniques, cost analysis and reduction, cash flow management.

· Basic knowledge of accounting programs is a plus.

· Strong financial planning, organizational, and analytical skills

· Fluent with financial planning software programs, such as Excel, SQL, NetSuite.

· Ability to prepare financial statements and create financial models for budgeting and risk analysis.

· Good critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to make clear, persuasive presentations to management, clients, or other stakeholders.

· Ability to recognize potential financial problems, engage in strategic planning and analysis of financial resources, markets, and products, assist management in making sound, profitable financial decisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, business administration, or equivalent working experience

· Minimum of two years of related work experience

· Experienced at interfacing with operational leaders

· Financial analysis and financial modeling experience (preferred)

· Experience in preparing standard financial statements (preferred)

· Proficient in Python, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI (preferred)

· Advanced Excel skills (V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables) required.

· Excel Macro Programming a plus.

· MBA a plus

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
