Job Description
Position: Operations Analyst (Entry Level)
CMG is currently seeking a talented and passionate Operations Analyst to play a critical role in maintaining and perfecting the firm’s international operations and trading function. As an Operations Analyst, you will report directly to the Head of Operations and be responsible for a variety of day-to-day tasks that include onboarding of clients/products, running daily reconciliation reports, assisting with ongoing product development initiatives, and providing day-to-day support internally with different departments and externally to our clients.
Team members are required to be enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible, client-service-orientated and focused on control, accuracy, and maximizing efficiency. The successful applicant for the Operations Analyst position will be required to work full-time hours spread across the usual business week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with internal departments/group to ensure proper trade processing and reporting
- Onboard new clients to our platform and product suite
- Provide solutions to clients, acting as a key point of contact for onboarding and production issues
- Assist with new product integrations
- Review and create daily reports and prepare metrics for senior management
- Assist on any issues and provide timely escalation to internal departments and senior management
- Assist with the development and modification of product announcements and client communications
- Reconcile positions and products on a daily basis
- Work directly with Head of Operations and other infrastructure groups to support business initiatives
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency and controls
- Identify gaps and opportunities and recommend creative business solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or STEM concentration preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Office Suite – Strong Focus on Excel
- Maintain internal and external relationships
- Self-starter, extremely organized with strong commitment to accuracy and detail
- Advanced knowledge of securities industry with high aptitude for learning
- Ability to multi-task, manage priorities effectively, work independently
- Risk awareness, escalation, and responsive attitude
- Process multiple client communication streams and make high-quality decisions under pressure
- Proven trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
- English is required. Bilingual Extension - Spanish, Korean, or Chinese
Base Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary - $42,000 USD per year
- We offer a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions
