Availability:Flexible schedule, available Sunday to Saturday with days off in between and rotating weekends
Preferred hours: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Housekeeping Responsibilities:Cleaning vacation rentals to the highest standards
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Dusting and polishing furniture, surfaces, and fixtures.
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
Bedroom Maintenance:
Making beds and changing linens.
Cleaning and organizing bedrooms.
Kitchen Maintenance:
Cleaning kitchen appliances, countertops, and surfaces.
Washing dishes and ensuring kitchen cleanliness.
Trash Removal:
Emptying and disposing of trash and recyclables.
Replacing trash can liners.
Organization:
Arranging items in an organized manner.
Ensuring items are returned to their proper places.
Restocking Supplies:
Refilling toiletries, towels, and other amenities.
Reporting any low inventory to the supervisor.
Reporting Damages and Maintenance Issues:
Identifying and reporting any damages or maintenance issues in the facility.
Coordinating with maintenance staff for repairs.
Laundry Responsibilities:
Sorting and Preparing Laundry:
Separating different types of laundry items (e.g., linens, towels).
Checking for items that require special treatment or stain removal.
Operating Washing Machines:
Loading laundry into washing machines.
Selecting appropriate wash cycles and detergent based on fabric type and level of soiling.
Starting and monitoring wash cycles to ensure proper cleaning.
Operating Dryers:
Transferring wet laundry from washing machines to dryers.
Setting appropriate drying cycles and temperatures.
Monitoring and adjusting drying time as needed.
Using Folding Machines:
Learning to use Laundry machines which dry, iron, and fold bedding and towels.
Checking for Quality:
Inspecting laundry for stains, tears, or damage.
Ensuring that all items meet quality standards before sending out to Villas.
Managing Inventory:
Keeping track of inventory levels for linens, towels, and other laundry items.
Notifying supervisors when inventory needs to be replenished.
Inspections Responsibilities:
Inspecting Cleanliness Standards:
Conducting thorough inspections of assigned areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards set by Arcadia Resort.
Checking for dust, dirt, stains, and any other signs of uncleanliness.
Replacing Missing or Broken Items:
Identifying any missing or broken items within the inspected areas, such as linens, amenities, or equipment.
Replacing or repairing items as necessary to maintain a fully stocked and functional environment.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies, amenities, and other items needed for housekeeping tasks.
Reporting any shortages or excess inventory to appropriate personnel for restocking or adjustments.
Reporting Maintenance Issues:
Documenting any maintenance issues or repairs needed within the inspected areas, such as malfunctioning equipment, leaks, or damage to fixtures.
Communicating inspection findings to maintenance staff or supervisors for prompt resolution.
Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping or related fields
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Effective time management abilities
