Responsibilities:
In the lead operator role you will be responsible to participate and oversee the operations of the warehouse, including but not limited to:
*Shipping and Receiving: Efficiently manage the shipping and receiving of products, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory control.
*Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to handle pallets of materials and transport them to designated areas.
*Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring materials are stored properly and available for production.
*Machine Operation: Operate specialized machinery including forklifts, cutting tables, industrial curing ovens, and label printing equipment.
*Material Handling: Stack materials onto racks and organize the storage area to optimize space and safety.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
*Quality Control: Take precise laboratory measurements using digital scales, calipers, and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
*Physical Tasks: Engage in lifting equipment up to 40 lbs and moving heavy carts of material as required. The role involves standing and walking for extended periods.
*Ensure all processes and procedures are followed correctly.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
*Proven experience working in industrial operations, manufacturing, or similar
*Knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
*Strong communication skills (Basic literacy in English for reading/writing) and organization, analytical, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
*Ability and proven experience to operate industrial machinery and forklifts safely and efficiently.
