About the Position:
The Operational Risk Analystwill support the organization's comprehensive Operational Risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could negatively affect the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.
Essential Duties:
We are seeking to hire a seasoned Operational Risk Analyst to join our team. This person will be responsible for Enterprise-wide Operational Risk management support.
  • Supports the Director of Operational Risk Management (ORM)
  • Data analysis to support risk reports and proposals to the Board of Directors, senior executives, and staff.
  • Subject Matter Expert for ERM Program Software
  • Ensure programs are accurate and up to date
  • Supports Third-Party Vendor Management Program through:
  • Building reporting
  • Data analytics
  • Vendor Initial and Ongoing Due Diligence
  • SOC Reviews
  • Vendor communication
  • Supports DR/BCP Plan through:
  • Plan testing based on set expectations
  • BCP reporting and analysis
  • Communication with plan owners
  • Supports risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
  • May support in training of DR/BCP enterprise wide.
  • Supports Operational Risk Assessments;
  • Supports Director of ORM in evaluation of policies, procedures, and processes;
  • Assist with RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment)
  • Reviews and analyzes metrics and data such as cash flow, inventory, breakage, and employee activity that could uncover fraudulent or other risk behavior.
  • Assists with collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, regulatory guidance, and market trends for the following areas, including but not limited to:
  • Information Technology
  • Information Security
  • Wire/ACH
  • Digital Banking
  • Vendor Management
  • DR/BCP
  • SDLC (System Development Lifecycle Policy and Program)
  • Supports the bank in preparing to meet the Operational Risk requirements of FDICIA, GLBA, and SOX regulations.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as directed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in risk management, Banking, or related field required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience highly preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of financial services risk management.
  • BSA/AML, fraud, banking regulations, and Operational Risk management knowledge.
  • Understanding and ability to implement and manage software development governance program.
  • Ability to adapt to ever changing priorities, technology, and industry expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent mathematical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies.

Salary Description
$70,000-$85,000
