Axient is currently seeking an Operational Medicine Training and Simulation Specialist to support our AFSOC customer in Florida.
ResponsibilitiesThis individual will also provide support, direction and technical expertise in the design, development, testing, implementation and operation of training systems using new technologies and technical simulators. These training systems are compatible with AFSOC Concepts of Operation and involve new technologies and other off-the-shelf systems that rapidly insert new ideas into AFSOC training protocols.
- Will serve with subject matter experts to instruct and develop training plans for the Tactical Operations Medical Skills (TOMS) training platform to be utilized by operators in the field.
- Will provide day-to-day management support for simulation and classroom academics.
- Develop tools and/or techniques to track funding/expenditures, resource utilization, and schedule concerns to ensure appropriate awareness and oversight.
- Designs, develops, accomplishes and evaluates training syllabus that integrates new technologies within existing clinical protocol to ensure consistency in meeting AFSOC, United States Special Operations Command, United States Air Force, and DoD mission objectives for ensuring mission ready status of AFSOC personnel.
- Must have an active and transferrable DoD SECRET security clearance. The individual must be able to maintain the required clearance.
- Must have an Associate's Degree or higher with a concentration in Allied Health Services, Medical Technologist or related medical fields.
- Must have knowledge and experience with expeditionary medical capabilities, application of Instructional System Development (ISD) processes, and curriculum design/development and analysis.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to interface and communicate well with Government counterparts customers on both technical and programmatic levels.
- Requires 20+ years of directly related experience.
Certifications:
- National Paramedic Certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians
- Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor
