Form of workMemorial Same Day Surgery Center is a freestanding outpatient surgical facility in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Our surgeons specialize in ophthalmology, orthopedics, spine, podiatry, pain management, and gastroenterology. We believe in compassionate medicine, where our focus is on each individual patient. We are currently searching for a Per DiemOperating Room Registered Nurse to work Monday - Friday who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibility will be circulating in the Operating Room. A strong background in ophthalmology, otolaryngology, general surgery, plastic surgery and orthopedic OR nursing and ambulatory OR experience is preferred.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills; be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse; maintain basic cardiac life support, ACLS, and PALS certification; must be positive and energetic, a strong team player, and excellent communicator; be able to prioritize multiple tasks; be able to work in a fast paced environment; and have strong decision making skills. Strong Ortho/Sports experience Required.
