Operating Room Nurse - Surgery Center-PART TIME DAYS

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting and/or PACU as needed
- Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments
- Administer IVs and conscious sedation as directed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical process
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient information

- Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing and post operative care
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Skills:
- Experience administering IVs, injections and conscious sedation
- Patient assessment skills
- Surgical care experience

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
