Opener/Front Staff

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Opener. As an Opener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during the early morning hours. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Duties:
- Arrive at the restaurant early in the morning to prepare for the day ahead
- Set up the kitchen and dining area for the day's service
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system (Square POS)
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper hygiene standards
- Open and close the restaurant according to established procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth transition between shifts
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers as needed

Skills:
- Strong math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience with operating a POS system, preferably Aloha POS
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
