AddressThe John D. Bower School of Population Health at UMMC is recruiting for one full-time on-site faculty member in the Department of Population Health Science (PHS) and the Chair of the Department of Population Health Science. The Chair applicant is expected to have extensive academic leadership experience.
The faculty member position will be expected to assist with the planning, development, and implementation of the Masters and Doctoral Programs in collaboration with the Program Director and PHS Faculty; engage in scholarly activities contributing to the mission of the School of Population Health (SOPH); and provide service to the program, department, school, institution, and professional communities.
Successful applicants will have an established research agenda, with evidence of expertise in an area related to Population Health (required) and current extramural funding (preferred). All faculty members contribute towards the implementation of the PHS academic Programs, including engagement with the students through traditional in-person classes, online classes, one-on-one mentoring in research, and advisement on doctoral committees and capstone projects.
