OHHR/Cardiovascular ICU
Salary and shift differential pay; $29-$43.50
Work hours and on-call hours required; 7p-7a or 7a-7p
Relocation fee and applicable details; Up to $10K for relocation, $20k retention package to these employees for a two-year commitment. 5K in first check, 5k at end of 1 year. 10k at end of year two.
Required Qualifications
Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
Associatess degree in Nursing (ASN) from accredited college or University
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from accredited college or University
Reporting structure; New hire > Charge > Shift Coordinator > Manager > Director
Additionally, we will offer a 5k bonus to the vendor at the end of 1 year

Number of open positions with same title; 6.0 FTE
Urgency of need to fill; ASAP
Number of beds in unit/unit size; 17 beds and is over 1 floor
Clinician/patient ratio; 1:1, 1:2, 2:1
Average number of patients cared for daily in unit; 1-2 per nurse or total 15-17 per day
Types of diagnoses and patients cared for in unit; CABG/Open Heart Recovery, Dissections, Cardiogenic Shock, Transplants, Valve Replacements, Post-op Ventricular Assist Device, Emergent Tamponade; Device management: Referral center for Code AORTA, ECMO, Impella, Balloon pump, Vasopressor management/titration, & Rapid Transfusion

There is an option to shadow same day.
4-6 months of orientation OHHR/Cardiovascular ICU dependent on experience
Up to 1 year orientation for Transplant or high-risk procedures
