Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school district in Marysville, CA. This contract position offers a flexible caseload that may include students from PreK to 12th grade. The SLP will play a crucial role in supporting students' speech and language development, whether through on-site or Teletherapy services.
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: K-12 (or PreK) - Specific details to be discussed
Contract Dates: ASAP - May 31, 2024
Please note that additional details will be provided during a Zoom interview directly with the district.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students, tailored to their age and needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans.
- Monitor and document students' progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
