Program Description: The program will provide records management such as extraction and processing of files to support the digitization of records.
Position Description: The On-Site IT Specialist will provide support for approximately 150+ contractor staff and IT equipment consisting of laptops, printers, scanners, Wireless Access Points, On-Prem active directory as well as Azure AD at the facility. Strong communication skills are required as this position will be working directly with staff on-site and escalating issues to HQ IT.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for on-site IT support for all contractor staff and IT equipment
- Ensuring 100% uptime with all laptop endpoints utilizing MDM and Microsoft Intune to deploy and reimage machines when needed for new staff or hardware/OS issues
- Configuration of all laptops with on-prem Print Solution to allow for printing of manifests and labels
- Entry of trouble tickets into SolarWInds ticketing system, as well as working tickets assigned to IT Staff for all issues on site
- Keep up to date records of all hardware onsite for asset management
- Contact vendors for parts replacement, as well as ticket creation for tracking of all hardware issues for replacement
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed, and provision and harden secure devices
- Understanding of all issues concerning the network and system administration of PCs, printers, devices, and other technologies
- Creation of knowledge base articles documenting job roles and daily tasks
- Troubleshoot network issues on end user devices to determine severity and location of any network issues that arise
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Active Directory experience
- IIS and Print Server administration experience
- Experience with SolarWinds ticketing system or similar incident management system
- At least 4 years Help Desk management or in a technical support role
- Experience with mobile device management and enterprise mobile management infrastructure
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and cloud provisioning of devices
- Experience with Wireless access points, and wireless network troubleshooting
