O&M Manager, Field Operations

Intro:

Renewable Solar Inc. is a readily growing Solar Engineering, Construction, and Procurement (EPC) currently managing a portfolio of over 200 ongoing PV solar projects valued in excess of $200M with a staff of roughly 100 personnel. Renewable Solar is seeking an O&M Manager, Field Operations to support this growing workload. We are an alternative energy company looking to carefully construct a team to support each other and grow the business, while carefully maintaining our priorities for our customers.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced O&M Manager who is self-motivated, has strong leadership skills, and ability to work well in a team environment. The O&M Manager is responsible for leading the Field Operations team, which includes service and preventive maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage the Field Operations team (service and preventive maintenance).

· Utilize multiple monitoring platforms to schedule and dispatch service techs.

· Oversee preventative maintenance schedule and processes.

· Respond to escalated service calls.

· Main POC for customer escalations.

· Remotely troubleshoot and/or open case with vendor.

· Utilize company CRM systems to record progress of various tasks.

· Lead efforts to grow Renewable Solar’s O&M portfolio.

· Interface with other departments, Construction, Engineering, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years of solar/electrical service work, to include at least 2 years of commercial solar/electrical service work.

· Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience in the solar or electrical field.

· Be proficient with troubleshooting tools such as a Digital Multimeter and Solar Monitoring Platforms.

· Be proficient with Microsoft Suite

· Attention to detail

· Ability to work primarily in an office setting

· When in the field, ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)

· Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance

· Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

· Must have a valid state driver's license

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Supervisory Controls

O&M Manager, Field Operations will report directly to the O&M Director.

O&M Manager, Field Operations is expected to directly supervise 1 Service Supervisor, 4 Service/Preventative Maintenance Technicians initially, with plans to expand to 6-10 during 2024.

O&M Manager, Field Operations is expected to work 40-45 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Evaluation Factors

O&M Manager, Field Operations will be evaluated based on their ability to successfully lead the Field Operations and solve complex challenges as they arise.

Pay Scale

O&M Manager, Field Operations compensation will be at market rates, based on qualifications, currently estimated between $80,000 - $100,000 a year.
