Automation Technician -
Job description:
- Applicants must be familiar with reviewing gas measurement data for the purposes of resolving measurement discrepancies using FlowCal (or similar software product).
- This position will require an understanding of oil measurement practices.
- The applicant will be responsible for ensuring that measurement data has been collected and seems reasonable, resolving discrepancies, providing reports to interested parties, and communicating problems and concerns to the appropriate teams.
- Other duties include data entry for Gas Analysis information, ensuring proper data entry for Gas Analysis information, ensuring proper data transfer from different systems and editing gas and oil volumes.
Gas Measurement Technician II -
Job Description:
- Installation, calibration, and repair of electronic flow meters, communication equipment, and LACT Units.
- Field sampling according to regulatory specifications. H2S monitoring using stain tubes. Installation and testing of automation in regard to the operational controls of measurement devices for wells & production facilities.
- Installation and configuration of wireless radios.
- Ability to take on a new project, come up with a solution, and implement ideas.
- This technician will also work closely with the back-office measurement and production accounting teams.
Oil Measurement Technician -
Job description:
- Perform skilled tasks including all levels of EOG automation equipment and mechanical system failures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose all levels of EOG automation equipment and mechanical system failures
- Proficient on new construction
- PCCU knowledge
- ROC800 knowledge
- Willing to learn
- Willing to work OT/Holidays/Weekends as needed
- 5/2 schedule
- On call every other month for 2 weeks
- Complete daily task timesheets
- Complete appropriate paperwork as directed
- Perform duties as trainer when required
- Continually hone and develop electronic and computer skills
- Demonstrate and further develop leadership skills
- Demonstrate and further develop leadership skills
- Other Duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
Experience:
- Oil & gas: 2 years (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- Odessa, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
