Position Summary
The Measurement Technician Level 1 position is responsible for measurement activities, including reporting, meter installation and maintenance. This individual will have the opportunity to develop into their craft with a growing organization. The position is located in Midland, TX, and reports to the Measurement Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Applies training and knowledge accurately, collecting and verifying liquid measurement data
- from job site(s)
- Maintains accurate records, keeping a daily log of all meter readings both electronic and
- manual field reports.
- Performs tank gauging, liquid sampling, and oil separation via centrifuge as directed by the
- Measurement Supervisor
- Ensures all equipment is in good operating condition, calibrated, verified, correct, and
- clean, including all safety and monitoring equipment appropriate to the job.
- Performs all assignments mindful of safety. Utilizing proper tools, safety best practices
- and operating procedures.
- Observes all inspectorate applicable federal, state, and safety laws and regulations.
- Attends all safety and team meetings as scheduled.
- Observes and report anything that would be considered a structural or mechanical failure or
- issue in a timely fashion.
- Properly maintains Company vehicle and all equipment issued I good, clean condition.
- Follows direction given by senior technicians and assists when called upon for meter
- cleanings, repairs and installations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must possess a strong commitment to our safety culture and guidelines.
- Follow and complies to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Must be able to follow instructions and exhibit skills taught in training in timely manner.
- Must have a valid state issued driver's license and a good-standing driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Energy Technology Associates Degree or Instrumentation & Electrical Associates Degree or comparable skill experience.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 25-40 pound in awkward positions when called upon.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds from floor to waist.
- Must be able to operate a company vehicle and qualify for company insurance.

- Measurement and Pipeline equipment, valves, centrifuge, and gauge lines

Working Conditions
- Physical environment will require employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold,
- wet/humid and dry/arid conditions.
- Able to drive in safe manner in any condition.
- You will be required to where personal protective equipment and FR clothing provided by
- company to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
- You may be requested to work overtime and weekends based on business needs.
