Oilfield Field Service Technician

NEED TO HIRE IMMEDIATELY!

Well established oilField Services company in business over 40 years.

CURRENTLY being located in the Midland/Odessa area is of high importance! Occasional call outs evenings or weekends. Please include references on your resume.

While these are normal duties of an FST, they are not all inclusive:

-Pull units from the yard to the drilling location, from one drilling location to another drilling location, and from the drilling location to the yard

-Setup units at drilling location in preparation for loggers to arrive. (Includes water, power, grounding rod, computers, WITS / Sensor setup, leveling the unit, installing jack stands, septic, drain lines, vacuum sample dryer, satellite, ensuring proper power for agitator, proper operation of all systems, Etc.)

-Restock Inventory items as needed on the units

-Deliver supplies to units in the field

-Setup logging units in the yard in preparation for the next job

-Fill test gas bottles

-Check all unit equipment for completeness and operation before leaving the yard

-Maintain company truck (Includes fill fuel tank, oil changes every 5000 miles, replace tires as necessary, wash exterior and clean the inside on a regular basis, replace or repair damages as necessary, etc.)

-Customer Relations with Company Representatives, Tool Pushers, Drilling Superintendents, Rig Crews, Etc.

All PPE provided except Steel Toe boots

FST Minimum Physical Requirements:

-Stand for up to one hour to one and a half hours at a time

-Lift up to 85 pounds, repetitively for up to 5 – 10 minutes

-Push/pull up to 85 pounds, repetitively for up to 5 – 10 minutes

-Walk up and down steps using a handrail

-Step over objects on ground up to approximately 30” high, repetitively for up to 10 repetitions
