Vocovision is seeking a Remote Full-Time Intervention Specialist to work for an Ohio School District.As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and interventions to succeed academically and emotionally.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Intervention Specialist certification issued by the Ohio Department of Education.
- Excellent knowledge of Ohio's educational system, including state standards and regulations.
- Strong understanding of special education laws and practices.
- Ability to effectively use technology tools and online platforms for instruction and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and administrators to identify students in need of academic or behavioral interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide targeted instruction and interventions to students both individually and in small groups, focusing on specific areas of need.
- Monitor student progress and regularly assess their educational goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance, interventions, and communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the school's intervention team to develop and refine intervention strategies and programs.
Working Hours: This is a full-time position, requiring approximately 35-40hours per week.
Employment Type: This position is offered on a 1099 contract basis for the duration of the school year.
