Under supervision of the Orange Chid Care Office’s Regional Manager or designee– The Office Technician (OT) (Typing) provides all clerical support to include: typing reports and correspondences, answering and screening telephone calls from the public, and gathering information for statistics. The OT(T) makes travel arrangements, prepares travel claims and monthly travel summary reports. The OT(T) processes highly confidential personnel transactions, maintains personnel files and attendance records, completes attendance reports, and employee benefit forms. The OT(T) prepares office statistical reports including monthly workload volume, personnel and other monthly summary reports, completes billing and record keeping functions for the civil penalty system, has knowledge of office equipment, and arranges for repair/maintenance of equipment as needed. The OT(T) orders office supplies and maintains contact with department personnel, outside agencies and general public. Must be able to assist with the workload demands of the office. The OT(T) may also provide lead clerical support to a limited number of clerical staff. Applications will be screened and only the most qualified will be selected for an interview. Department Information
The core mission of the Child Care Licensing Program is to ensure the health and safety of children in care. The Child Care Licensing Program strives to provide preventive, protective, and quality services to children in care by ensuring that licensed facilities meet established health and safety standards through monitoring facilities, providing technical assistance, and establishing partnerships with providers, parents, and the child care community.
