JOB TITLE
The primary purpose of the Office Supervisor is to manage administrative workflow for the Waterloo facility and uphold Hydrite's "Standard of Excellence" through continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead office team including setting performance goals, conducting regular performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback
- Lead branch Hydrite Helps team, initiatives, and budget, including leading branch philanthropic efforts, facilitating meetings and planning events
- Branch Timecard Admin responsible for reviewing, correcting, and submitting employee timecards no less than weekly
- Manage administrative activities for HR and plant operations, such as data entry, documentation retention, filing, and reporting
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientations
- Facilitate employee events that take place both inside and outside of the workplace, including holiday parties, anniversary luncheons, business meetings, etc.
- Support effective communication with all Hydrite departments to ensure success of the branch
- Primary liaison with external office service providers
- Manage purchasing of office supplies and equipment
- Coordinate with IT department and external vendors on all branch equipment, software, and network needs
- Provide ad hoc troubleshooting and IT project support as needed
- Administer the issuance, tracking, and maintenance of employee badges
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to the HR Manager.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
