Office Shipping Clerk
An Office Shipping Clerk will be responsible for handling clerical tasks as well as creating shipping documents. You will be entering and confirming PO’s, managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, completing shipping documents and labels, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.
Office Responsibilities:
- Manage the file system.
- Enter and confirm purchase orders.
- Update paperwork, maintain documents and word processing.
- Help organize and maintain office and common areas.
- Perform general office clerk duties and run errands.
- Create, maintain, and enter information into QuickBooks quickly and accurately.
- Enter information in EDI (Electronic Document Interchange) system.
- Follow different customer shipping requirements.
- Complete Bill of Ladings for LTL/Truckload shipments.
- Complete parcel shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc…) labels.
- Schedule shipments with Carriers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1+ years office experience.
- Ability to write clearly and perform data entry.
- Warm personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- QuickBooks experience is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a plus.
- Shipping experience is a must.
- Work 40 hours a week and overtime, if needed
- Punctuality and excellent attendance are required
