SalaryImage Eye Care, STL Magazine's #1 Eye Care Provider, is seeking an Office Manager to join our growing team. The office Manager acts as a leader in support of the practice owners and represents Image Eye Care as the premier destination for all eye care needs in the community and delivers key performance metrics. The Office Manager ensures compliance with practice policies and procedures, and supports practice mission, values, and standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20 - $25+ / hr (including bonus)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates, completes and oversees job-related activities and assignments.
- Delivers quality and improvement to meet or exceed all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Comp sales
- Comp growth
- % Sales to plan
- Capture rate
- Exam count
- Models, enforces and provides direction and guidance to staff members on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure patent needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved within practice guidelines.
- Provides training to staff members.
- Anticipates problems before they occur and develops solutions.
- Takes pride in, and maintains, practice appearance.
- Assumes leadership role in hiring, discipline, and firing staff.
Basic Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 1+ year(s) management experience with direct reports
- Strong basic math skills
- Familiarity with computers
- Strong communicator / listener
- Demonstrated high-level selling skills
- Proven ability to problem solve
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic optics
- Familiarity with Electronic Health records (EHRs)
- OfficeMate system a bonus
- ABO certification
