Position Title:Office Manager
Organization Unit: Various Departments
Reports to: Director of the Department
Status: Full-time, Non-Bargaining Unit
Hours: M-F, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Posting Period: until filled.
Salary: $48,900- $52,304

Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the assigned office. Duties include but are limited to:
- Communicating with department heads.
- Relaying important information or policy changes from upper management.
- Implementing said changes.
As the Office Manager, you may be the first point of contact for internal and external parties within the office. Duties and responsibilities will vary depending on a department's size but might include.

Position Qualifications
Minimum Education and licensing requirements: A bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university.
- Two to three years’ experience in an Office Manager setting
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office software suite (Word and Excel a must have).

Duties and Responsibilities (For Performance Appraisal)
- Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, preparing payroll, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing and approving supply requisitions and POs, and assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
- Provides historical reference by defining procedures for retaining, protecting, retrieving, transferring, and disposing of records.
- Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling, assigning employees, and following up on work results as directed by the department head.
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends.
- Maintains office staff by onboarding, orienting, training, and offboarding employees.
- Achieves financial objectives by helping to prepare the department's annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
