We are currently searching for an experienced Office Engineerto support our Mid Atlantic Region located in Springfield, VA. This is a remote position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provides administrative support such as maintaining office supplies, scheduling, and organizing activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and training activities
- Supports all senior construction staff
- Compiles and submits expense reports as requested
- Prepares and types correspondence, memos, reports and supporting documents; files; orders supplies and equipment. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
- Provides support by scanning, filing, copying, and data entry
- Assumes other duties as directed by immediate supervisor
- Works cooperatively with the team to achieve objectives
- Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with all employees and clients
- Works with VP of Construction Staff to keep minutes and setup staff meetings
- Maintain various excel tracking spreadsheets related to project financials and staffing
What you need to have:
- High School education or equivalent with 3 - 5 years of administrative support experience preferably in construction or engineering or Bachelor’s degree
- Accounting knowledge preferred
- Proficient with MS Office suites including intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel
- Professional office etiquette and strong customer service for our internal and external customers
- Previous experience in Deltek is a plus
