Job Description
The marriage and Family Therapy graduate program, in the Department of Human Development and Family Science, is currently seeking an Office Coordinator to provide administrative and fiscal support the operations of the marriage and Family Therapy Program and its training clinic, the Family Therapy Center (FTC). The Office Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining compliance with program and FTC policies and procedures, as well general office procedures. Duties include facilities and inventory management, fiscal operations (e.g., purchasing, accounts payable, accounts reconciliation, etc.), records management, student services, and assistance with program assessment.
In addition, the Office Coordinator will assist with client services at the Family Therapy Center (https://familytherapy.vt.edu/ftc). These duties include taking client intakes, responding to client communication, processing client paperwork, assisting with confidential client records, and supporting clinic data collection.
Required Qualifications
Customer Service Experience, preferably in a medical or related environment
Experience using databases preferably related to patient/ client data
Experience with confidential records
Experience with basic fiscal Duties
Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Training or experience with Titanium patient software
