Office Assistant/Community Outreach Coordinator
Looking for administrative staff to complete front-of-house duties preferably with experience working in a medical/healthcare-related business office. This job will be in-office, but you may have the option to work remotely depending on the circumstances. We are currently looking to hire someone to work approximately 25-35 hours a weekly.
Job Duties:
- Be friendly and engaging with clients/providers
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Handling new client intakes
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Insurance billing
- Collecting client payments
- Filing documents
- Keeping the office tidy
- Community Outreach may include: reaching out to and distributing materials at local provider offices; setting up meetings with other professionals that can include: doctors, schools, and therapists; doing social media posts/blogging about once per day. These tasks can be completed remotely.
Requirements: Prefer someone who has completed a bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: Should be able to maintain professional relationships with other providers in the practice and attend administration meetings once per week. Need someone who can be timely and reliable.
Salary/Pay: $15/hr
