Essential Functions
The work of the Office Assistant, Allied Health (Work-Study) will serve as support staff to the Health and Wellness Department. This will include performing general office duties requiring the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods.
Job Duties
1. Print and copy materials for Allied Health orientations, and other materials.
2. Sending student notifications, appointment reminders, filing, and inventory.
3. Assisting students with the set-up of student Connect Mail, Webadvisor, and Self-Service to new students.
4. Completing data entry, scanning, copying, and filing.
5. Other duties as assigned.
6. Handel print shop requests.

• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

A maximum of a 20-hour work week as determined with the supervisor. May not work during scheduled class time.
Hiring Range
$14.00 per hour

- Use of Microsoft Office suite for various applications, such as database management or word processing;
- or Completed CIS 110 with a grade of C or better, or have passed the Durham Technical Community College computer competency exam
