Office Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for an Office Administrative Assistant to join our team! This person will be responsible for providing customer service and clerical support in order to assist the agent in maintaining existing accounts and claims processing. COUNTRY Financial agencies strive to provide excellent service to customers by assisting them with their insurance and financial service’s needs. In an agency staff position you will have an opportunity to work as a member of a team of professionals focused on providing insurance and financial products to help customers protect their homes, cars, lives, and retirement incomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up prospect and customer files, process dead files, conduct miscellaneous filing
• Answers telephone and communicate with customers
• Assists the Agent with assembly of marketing materials, proposals and presentations for prospects and customers
• Inputs prospect and customer data into applications
• Process insurance certificates
• Other duties as assigned to support agent
• Maintains office supply and equipment inventory levels
• Salary plus Bonus

• Valid Driver’s License

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required Knowledge & Skills:

*

• At least 2 years of administrative support experience
• Great oral and written communications skills

• Strong customer service skills, including telephone etiquette and listening skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Good problem solving and time management skills
• Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)
• Ability to work with a team
• Knowledge of insurance concepts and principles
• Bilingual: Spanish

Preferred Knowledge & Skills: Some sales experience

• Licensed in property & casualty. Licenses must be maintained to continue employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
