Assistant to Estimating Department

General Contractor in Tarzana in business 50 years is looking for a assistant to estimating department.

As a assistant to the estimating department you will be making phone calls to the subcontractors for follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Assist and report to Sr. Estimator
• make multiple phone calls per day, must be comfortable being on the phone
• Enter data into the computer for estimating department
• Create and update project logs and miscellaneous project documents
• Create binders, tabs, labels, and files for office use
• Correspond with various clients over the phone and via email
• Information gathering and research as needed

Requirements

• Proven work experience in a office handling multiple phone calls per day
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
• Professionalism
• Time management skills
• Organizational skills
• Excellent proofreading, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly
• High school diploma

Job Type: Part-time
