OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Join our team! Steinbrink Landscaping is looking for an organized and goal-oriented Office Administrator to help keep our business running smoothly. They will undertake various financial and administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· General bookkeeping including managing cash registers and petty cash, processing bank deposits, and reconciling various bank accounts
· Maintains records, documentation, and files, including more complex or sensitive files such as employee files
· Process mail, accounts payable and accounts receivable, manage Purchase Orders, and general filing
· Assist in employee management such as organizing applications, processing new hire paperwork, orientation, worker’s compensation, and more.
· Review employee timecards, ensure accuracy, and process bi-weekly payroll.
· Process accurate sales tax and document those procedures in general ledger entries
· Assist the marketing team in creating and/or printing company marketing materials such as signs, forms, care sheets, etc.
· Manage company licenses, certificates, registrations, and fees
· Maintains office supply inventory and purchasing
· Professional communication with vendors and customers
· Assists management and staff with their assigned duties as needed
· Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent leadership, time management and organizational skills
- Familiarity with common office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
- Organization and the ability to prioritize and multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees and customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and other office management tools and applications
Required Education and Experience:
· High school diploma
· Authorized to work in the U.S.
· Valid driver’s license
· Prior office administration, budget reconciliation, cash handling, and clerical experience
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
· Full-time availability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
