Providing services to individuals of all ages whose lives have been disrupted by physical injury or illness, developmental problems, the aging process, and social or psychological difficulties. Providing clients need specialized assistance in learning skills to enable them to lead lives satisfying to themselves. Provides assessment of the individual's abilities to carry out necessary physical and emotional functions in relation to their prognosis. Providing treatment objectives which are identified and coordinated with the client's family members, physician, and appropriate community resources to assure maximum independence, productivity, and satisfaction.
