Job Description
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting our licensed Occupational Therapists in providing prehensive therapy services to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to support patients in regaining their independence and improving their quality of life through various therapeutic activities and exercises.
Description:
- Full Time: 35 hours/week
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: EOSY
- Early Childhood Caseload
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to patients during therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications:
- pletion of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
- State licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- passionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Prior experience in a schools setting is preferred.
